What it does
The Schema.org – TechArticle Plugin helps publishers describe technical content—such as tutorials, guides, and documentation—using Schema.org TechArticle structured data.
Configure each article with details such as its headline, description, author, publisher, proficiency level, prerequisites, software version, audience, keywords, and reading time. When enabled, autofill uses available article information for empty fields, while your manually entered values take priority.
The plugin outputs structured data as part of Joomla’s Schema.org functionality. It requires Joomla 6.0 or later and PHP 8.3 or later.

- Download the plugin installation package (
.zip). - In your Joomla administrator, go to System → Install → Extensions.
- Upload the ZIP package and complete the installation.
- Go to System → Manage → Plugins, search for Schema.org – TechArticle Plugin by Pnkr, and enable it.
- Ensure Joomla’s Schema.org functionality is enabled.
- Open or create a Joomla article. In its Schema.org settings, select TechArticle, then enter the structured-data details you want to provide.
- Optionally, configure the plugin’s autofill and default publisher settings in the plugin options.
